A week later….

Well, we’ve been home for over a week now. i’ve deliberatley not written anything on here. I’ve been focusing on sorting my photos, seeing friends and family, spending time with Linda and getting used to being back in the UK. I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about my experiences in Nepal though. About the … Continue reading »

Anyway, we’re now at Kathmandu airport – waiting to board out first flight to Doha. The last 2 weeks have been awesome, the places we’ve seen, the people we’ve met, the … Continue reading »

That was some day!!

Wow, today has been pretty awesome, for the most part. Joanna and John haven’t been feeling well, neither has Jonny. Jonny and John are perking up, but Joanna is still feeling a bit unwell – so she’s popped off to see the resident conference doctor to see what advice she can get. The morning started … Continue reading »

A bit of a mixed day…

Today was an interesting day. I’ve spent most of the day holed up in my bedroom trying to drink and sleep enough to feel better – it wasn’t the most pleasant night I’ve ever had! I’ll be making an effort to avoid Buffalo Momo in the future – although I’ll still be having vegetable Momo!!! … Continue reading »

Himalayan Sunrise

This morning, Chuli, Suzi and myself got up at 5am to watch the sunrise. It was beautiful. I feel very blessed to have had the chance to watch the sunrise over the Himalayas. We aren’t in the heart of the range, so the mountains around us are ‘only’ topping out around 2000/2500 meters!
