Photography in Pakistan

“ You’ve got to push yourself harder. You’ve got to start looking for pictures nobody else could take. You’ve got to take the tools you have and probe deeper.” – William Albert Allard I got very frustrated with myself on Thursday. We were out visiting projects in Thatta and Badin, in the Sindh province. Areas … Continue reading »

The Road Not Taken (The Road Less Travelled)

The Road Not Taken Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, … Continue reading »

It must be borne in mind…

“It must be borne in mind that the tragedy of life doesn’t lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy lies in having no goals to reach. It is not a calamity to die with dreams unfulfilled. But it is a calamity not to dream. It is not a disaster to be unable to capture … Continue reading »

Travel Photography

As I mentioned last week, I have had the opportunity to do a lot of travelling this year – I’ve been to Nepal, Canada and France. On these trips I’ve travelled a total of 25121 miles and visited 26 different towns and cities. It’s been a great year – I’m still processing things that I … Continue reading »
